Academic research observation at the Endowments Investing Challenge event
A PhD researcher from the University of York will be observing our event as part of academic research on philanthropic investment practices and asset management.
WHAT THIS MEANS: The researcher will take field notes on public presentations, panel discussions, and audience interactions during the event.

ABOUT THE RESEARCH: This University of York study examines how foundations align endowment investments with their missions, including the effectiveness of collaborative initiatives like the Endowments Investing Challenge, and their potential for replicability in the conservation philanthropy space to advance biodiversity-positive investment practices.
The research critically explores systemic opportunities and challenges in sustainable finance; it will not name or evaluate individual organisations.
